Scope

This standard specifies the preparation, sample preparation, inspection methods and qualification indicators for welding test pieces of pressure equipment (boilers, pressure vessels and pressure pipes) products. This standard is suitable for testing the mechanical properties and bending properties of welded test pieces of pressure-bearing equipment products made of steel, aluminum, titanium, copper and nickel. Product welding test pieces include product welding test plates, product inspection test pieces, simulation rings and verification rings. This standard does not apply to gas cylinders.
