Scope: This standard specifies the method principle, instruments, reagents, analysis steps, result calculation and method precision for spectrophotometric determination of Chin in UF6. This standard is applicable to the determination of chromium in UF6. When the sampling volume is 2g UF6 hydrolyzate, the determination range is 0.5～5μg/g UF. When the ratio of niobium to titanium is greater than 1:5, niobium interferes with the determination of chromium; 100 μg tungsten, 1 mg thorium, 30 μg molybdenum and 50 μg zirconium do not interfere; the interference of hexavalent chromium and pentavalent vanadium can be eliminated by ferrous ammonium sulfate.
