Scope: This standard specifies the method principle, instruments, reagents, analysis steps, result calculation and method precision for spectrophotometric determination of silicon in UF6. This standard is applicable to the determination of silicon in uranium hexafluoride. When the sampling volume is 0.7g uranium hexafluoride hydrolyzate, the determination range is 4-20μg/g uranium. 2μg arsenic and 50μg tungsten do not interfere with the determination of silicon. Phosphorus interference was eliminated with oxalic acid; fluorine interference was eliminated with boric acid.
