Scope
This standard specifies the principle and analysis procedures for the determination of tungsten, molybdenum, niobium, chromium and zirconium in uranium hexafluoride. This standard is applicable to the determination of tungsten, molybdenum, niobium, titanium and zirconium content in UF6. The sampling volume is the hydrolyzed solution of UF6 containing 0.3g of uranium, and the determination range is 0.3~16μg/g uranium. When the vanadium in the sample is greater than 2.5 μg, it will interfere with the determination of niobium and titanium; when the zirconium is greater than 50 μg, it will interfere with the determination of titanium; when the aluminum is less than or equal to 20 μg, it will not interfere with the other four impurities.
