Scope: This standard specifies the method principle, instruments, reagents, analysis steps, result calculation and precision of the method for the spectrophotometric determination of phosphorus in uranium hexafluoride. This standard is applicable to the determination of phosphorus in uranium hexafluoride. When the sampling volume is 0.7g uranium hydrolyzate, the determination range is 7.5～75μg/g uranium. 30μg silicon, 3μg arsenic and 50μg tungsten do not interfere with the determination of 10μg phosphorus. Fluoride interferes with the determination of phosphorus, and complexation with boric acid can eliminate its interference.
