Scope

This standard specifies the structure, model and specifications, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for parallel steel wire cables used in long-span cable-stayed bridges. This standard is applicable to parallel steel wire cables of cable-stayed bridges with a span greater than 400m. The cables of small and medium-span cable-stayed bridges can be used as a reference.
