Scope

This standard specifies the test principle, sample preparation, reagent preparation, test procedures and judgment principles of the copper sulfate test method for the zinc layer of galvanized steel wire. This standard applies to the uniformity test of the zinc layer of hot-dip galvanized steel wire. Zinc-aluminum alloy coated steel wire and electro-galvanized steel wire can also refer to this standard.
