This part specifies the measurement method for the dielectric loss tangent tanδ of pyroelectric ceramics, crystals and organic materials in the range of 100 Hz to 100 kHz. This part is applicable to the measurement of pyroelectric ceramic materials such as lead titanate, lead zirconate titanate, strontium barium titanate, lead tantalum scandate and pyroelectric crystal materials such as lead magnesium niobate, lithium tantalate and triglycine sulfate The dielectric loss tangent tanδ is also suitable for measuring the dielectric loss tangent tanδ of other similar ceramics, crystals and organic pyroelectric materials.
