Scope

This part of GB/T 11297 specifies the method for measuring the extinction ratio along the optical axis of a uniaxial optical crystal using a light wave with a wavelength of 632.8nm. This section applies to the measurement of the extinction ratio of uniaxial and equiaxial optical crystals using light waves with wavelengths of 632.8nm, 1064nm, 830nm, 514nm, 488nm, and 458nm.
