This part specifies the method for measuring the intrinsic pyroelectric coefficient of pyroelectric materials. This section applies to the measurement of pyroelectric coefficients of pyroelectric materials such as lithium tantalate, lead titanate, lead zirconate titanate, and lead magnesium niobate. This part is also applicable to the measurement of other ceramics, single crystal and organic pyroelectric materials whose pyroelectric coefficient is above the order of 1×10-11C/(cm2?℃). This section does not apply to the measurement of pyroelectric coefficients of field pyroelectric materials such as barium strontium titanate and lead tantalum scandate.
