- Scope
- This part of GB/T 1962 specifies the dimensions, requirements and test methods for general requirements of 6% (Luer) conical connectors for syringes, injection needles and other medical devices. This part applies to the general requirements for conical connectors of rigid and semi-rigid syringes, injection needles and other medical devices (Luer) (hereinafter referred to as conical connectors). Not suitable for 6% (Luer) conical fittings made of softer or elastomeric materials. Figure 1 shows a typical 6% (Luer) male conical fitting (female) and 6% (Luer) female conical fitting (female).
