Scope: This part of GB/T 19661 specifies the general requirements for the classification of dosimeters, protection against ionizing radiation, other safety devices, determination of dose equivalents, test methods, system level codes and signs, and accompanying documents. This section applies to the manufacture and installation of radioactive measuring meters (hereinafter referred to as measuring meters). It also applies to organs used in measuring meters. This section does not apply to portable measuring meters, because their structure and application are aimed at mobile equipment. This section also does not apply to gauges working with X-ray tubes, but can be used as a reference for these gauges. This section excludes mechanical and electrical hazards.
