Scope

This standard specifies the basic composition, functional requirements, technical requirements, inspection rules, test methods and identification of charge and dis harge devices for off-board charging and dis harging devices for electric vehicles (hereinafter referred to as charging and dis harging devices). This standard applies to off-board charging and dis harging devices for electric vehicles using conductive charging and dis harging methods.
