Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and transportation of marine direct evaporative air conditioning units (hereinafter referred to as "air conditioning units"). This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of marine assembled direct evaporative air conditioning units for centralized air conditioning systems with water as the cooling medium and a cooling capacity greater than 20 kW.
