Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, warranty period, marking and packaging of general-purpose centrifugal fans (hereinafter referred to as "ventilators"). This standard applies to centrifugal fans used in ventilation systems, air conditioners and industrial production. The conveying medium is air or air and other non-corrosive gas mixtures with a maximum ventilator pressure not higher than 30kPa. The inlet temperature of the medium should not exceed 80°C, the dust content and other solid impurities should not exceed 100 mg/m3, and there should be no viscosity or other materials in the medium.
