- This standard specifies the method for measuring the noise sound power level under free field conditions on a reflecting plane; Appendix C gives the measuring method for the noise sound pressure level; Appendix D gives the measuring method for the noise sound pressure level of air conditioners (machine). This standard applies to refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment and components that are assembled and shipped from the factory.
