This standard specifies the lightning protection measures that wind turbines should have and the relevant requirements for testing. This standard applies to lightning protection systems for horizontal axis wind turbines with rated power of 600kW and above for onshore use. Other wind turbines can refer to this standard. This standard is mainly aimed at the wind turbine itself, including the lightning protection of the components connected to the wind farm power collection system on the unit side.
