Scope

This section gives the guidelines and methods for implementing risk reduction in the risk assessment of electrical equipment based on GB/T 22696.1, and the selection of appropriate protection and protective measures to ensure safety. The intended users of this standard are designers, technicians or experts in safety standards concerned with the integration of safety into the design, manufacture, installation, maintenance or improvement of electrical equipment. This part is not only used to evaluate the risk reduction measures adopted in the design stage and in the process of manufacturing and trial operation, but also to evaluate the risk reduction measures adopted in the process of electrical equipment modification or improvement, or to evaluate existing electrical equipment. It can be used to evaluate the risk reduction measures in the event of an accident or failure of electrical equipment.
