Scope: This standard specifies the basic criteria and requirements for electrical safety design of AC below 1000V and DC below 1500V. This standard applies to the safety design of electrical equipment. Professional or product safety design should be based on corresponding standards. This standard can be used when there is no professional or product security design method.
