Scope: This part gives the implementation guidelines for risk assessment of electrical equipment according to GB/T 22696.1~22696.4, the specific operation methods and tools applicable to each process and step of risk assessment, and gives examples. The intended users of this standard are designers, technicians or safety standards experts who integrate safety into the design, manufacture, installation, maintenance or improvement of electrical equipment. This part is not only used for safety risk assessment in the design stage and during manufacturing and trial operation, it can also be used for safety risk assessment in the process of electrical equipment modification or improvement, or to evaluate existing electrical equipment. In the case that there is no risk assessment provision in the product-related standards or the manufacturer decides not to use the relevant standards, this part can provide guidance for the product manufacturer when designing the product.
