Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of natural gas single-fuel engines for automobiles (including compressed natural gas and liquefied natural gas engines without liquid injection). This standard is applicable to single-fuel engines for automobiles whose nominal pressure of compressed natural gas storage bottles is not greater than 20MPa and that of liquefied natural gas storage bottles is not greater than 1.6MPa.
