- This standard specifies the general technical conditions and testing methods for the towers of grid-connected wind turbines (the swept area of the wind rotor is greater than or equal to 40 m2). This standard applies to the design and production of tube towers for large horizontal axis wind turbines. Other types of towers can be implemented by reference.
