Scope: This standard specifies the general requirements and methods for reliability testing of relays and contactors for rolling stock, including reliability level requirements, test methods, verification test plans and test procedures for relays and contactors. This standard is applicable to the reliability test of relays and contactors used on rolling stock (including EMUs). Relays and contactors used on urban rail vehicles may be implemented with reference.
