Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and ordering or contract forms for precious metals and their alloy wires, wires and bars. This standard applies to the manufacture of precision potentiometers, sensors, resistors, brushes, contacts and other precious metals and their alloy wires, wires and rods.
