Scope

This standard specifies the method summary, instruments and equipment, specimens, test requirements, test procedures, test data processing and test reports for non-ferrous metal filament tensile test methods. This standard is suitable for measuring the room temperature tensile mechanical properties of non-ferrous metal wires with a nominal diameter not greater than 0.25mm or a cross-sectional area not greater than 0.0491mm2.
