Scope: 1.1 The test methods specified in this part of GB/T 12008 are applicable to the determination of sodium and potassium in various polyols with a sodium and potassium content of 0-10 mg/kg. When the content of sodium and potassium in the polyol is high, one or more of the following methods can be used for determination: - Reduce the amount of sample; - Dilute the ash solution; - Extend the working curve to a higher concentration. 1.2 This section does not involve any security issues associated with use. It is the user's responsibility to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use. For special requirements, see Chapter 6.
