Scope

This part of GB/T 4909 specifies the measurement tools, sample preparation, measurement procedures, test results and evaluation of the bare wire size measurement test. This part is suitable for measuring the external dimensions, fillet radius, pitch-to-diameter ratio and cross-sectional area of various round, rectangular, special-shaped conductors and stranded conductors. When there are higher requirements for the measurement accuracy of external dimensions, etc., the corresponding product standards shall prevail. This section should be used together with GB/T 4909.1-2009.
