- This standard specifies the quality standards that mineral turbine oil (hereinafter referred to as turbine oil) used in steam turbines (including hydraulic turbines, condensers and gas turbines) in power plants should meet during operation. This standard is applicable to the quality supervision of steam turbine oil (including hydraulic turbine, condenser and gas turbine oil) during the operation of generating units.
