Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for forged alloy steel work rolls for cold-rolled metals. This standard applies to integrally forged alloy steel cold-rolled work rolls and intermediate rolls (hereinafter referred to as cold-rolled rolls) for cold-rolling mills for metal plates (strips). Cold rolled rolls manufactured by other methods can also be implemented by reference.
