Scope

This standard specifies the expression and test method of Shore and Leeb hardness of rolls, requirements for test instruments, tested rolls, data processing, test report and hardness conversion table. This standard applies to the determination of Shore and Leeb hardness of various types of forged steel, cast steel and cast iron rolls.
