Scope

This standard specifies the ultrasonic flaw detection method for forged steel cold-rolled work rolls (hereinafter referred to as rolls). This standard applies to the ultrasonic testing of forged steel work rolls with a diameter greater than or equal to 80mm for cold rolling of metal plates, strips and foils.
