- This standard specifies the testing items, testing requirements and methods, testing cycle, testing procedures and testing data arrangement of lightning protection devices for buildings. This standard applies to the detection of lightning protection devices for buildings. The following situations are not within the scope of this standard: a) railway systems; l,) vehicles, ships, aircraft and offshore installations; c) underground high-pressure pipelines; pipelines, power lines and communication lines not connected to buildings
