- Scope
- This standard specifies the testing items, testing requirements and methods, testing cycle, testing procedures, testing data collation and reporting of lightning protection devices for buildings. This standard applies to the detection of lightning protection devices for buildings. The following situations do not belong to the scope of this standard: a) Railway systems; b) Vehicles, ships, aircraft and offshore installations; c) Underground high-pressure pipelines, pipelines, power lines and communication lines not connected to buildings.
