- The test methods in this standard include: (1) Measurement of grounding resistance and grounding impedance of various grounding electrodes from small grounding rods, grounding plates to large-scale grounding systems of power stations; (2) Measurement of ground potential, including measurement of step voltage, contact Voltage and equipotential lines; (3) In order to improve the engineering design, predict the grounding resistance and ground potential gradient in the laboratory according to the scale model test method; (4) Measure the soil resistivity. 2 The test methods listed in this standard are limited to the use of direct current, periodically commutated direct current, sinusoidal alternating current and impulse current (for measuring impulse ground resistance). This guideline does not cover all possible test means and test methods. 3 Due to the many variable factors in the test, it is difficult to achieve a high degree of accuracy in the test, so it is necessary to use the most suitable test method to do the test carefully, and to thoroughly understand the cause of the error.
