- Scope
- This standard applies to hardcopy cameras that produce images on monochrome continuous light-sensitive materials (such as optical film and materials sensitive to infrared radiation), and includes cameras that use cathode ray tubes, laser beams, or thermoelectric printing systems, such as in Applied in the diagnostic imaging system: - digital radiography - digital subtraction - computed tomography imaging - magnetic resonance imaging - ultrasound imaging - nuclear medicine imaging This test method is based on the use of test patterns Base. This section does not apply to X-Y (analog) recording systems used in nuclear medicine. This Part is part of a series of dedicated publications (standards and technical reports), as described in GB/T 17006.1--2000 (see Chapter 2), which gives test methods for the stability of diagnostic imaging performance.
