Scope
This standard applies to X-ray processors for processing the following X-ray photography or photographic materials in X-ray laboratories. - films with screens of all kinds; - films without screens; - photographic films for recording indirect radiography; output images of X-ray image intensifiers; other converted radiographic images; radiographic photographic material; - photographic material provided by electronic means for recording and displaying tubes as permanent information images. Examples: hardcopy cameras, or films produced by other electronic methods, including lasers used in diagnostic equipment such as general reconstruction tomography, digital imaging, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and magnetic resonance. The methods described in this standard are primarily intended for automatic film processors, but can also be used for manually processed test equipment. This standard is part of a series of typical publications (standards and technical reports) that describe test methods for the stability of performance of various diagnostic X-ray equipment subsystems, as described in GB/T 17006.1-2000.
