- This standard applies to image display devices for diagnostic imaging systems, such as: --digital radiography; --digital subtraction angiography; --computed tomography; --magnetic resonance imaging; --ultrasound diagnostic equipment; --nuclear medicine. *This test method is based on the use of test patterns. *This standard does not apply to video monitors used with indirect perspective systems. This standard is part of a series of dedicated publications (standards and technical reports), as described in IEC 61223-1, which gives test methods for performance stability of diagnostic imaging systems.
