Scope
This part of GB/T 17006 applies to diagnostic X-ray system radiation equipment with X-ray photographic film or electronic equipment (sensor) installed in the mouth. However, dental panoramic equipment is not included. This part is part of a series of dedicated publications (standards and technical reports), which give a test method for diagnosing the working stability of each subsystem of X-ray equipment. This part of GB/T 17006 is applicable to intraoral dental X-ray photography equipment without digital imaging device. 1.2 Purpose This part describes the test method of image quality stability produced by dental X-ray equipment in El after installation, calibration and adjustment through functional parameters. This part specifies that: - functional parameters are used to describe the performance of X-ray equipment related to intraoral dental radiography examinations; - inspection methods take into account whether changes in the measured functional parameters comply with established criteria to ensure that proper imaging is maintained performance conditions, thereby avoiding unnecessary radiation to the patient. These methods are based on the evaluation of radiographic information using appropriate test equipment. The purpose of these methods is to: - establish a baseline level of performance following acceptance tests and initial stability tests; - detect and verify significant changes in any functional parameters that may require corrective action. Because radiological equipment varies greatly from one another, it is not possible in this standard to specify a parameter target value and error value as the standard generally used for acceptance performance. However, guidance is given in this section on the extent to which individual parameter measurements may vary for which appropriate action may be required. This part gives the test methods for performance stability of diagnostic X-ray equipment, as described in GB/T 17006.1 (see Chapter 2). This section does not deal with: - Mechanical and electrical safety; - Checking the effectiveness of direct protection methods against X-ray radiation; - Optimizing imaging performance. In general, it is recommended to use a densitometer to detect the photosensitive density. However, for the sake of simplification, this section only uses simple test devices, with the initial stability test film as a reference, and the visual comparison of uniform stability test films is considered sufficient. For measurements, methods described in relevant publications are available as reference. However, for practical reasons, the methods described in dedicated publications should be preferred (see Chapter 2).
