Scope

This standard specifies the safety requirements and inspection procedures for the selection, installation, use and maintenance of electrical equipment in explosive gas or combustible dust environments. This standard does not apply to the following environments: 　——Underground coal mines; 　——Explosives manufacturing and processing sites; 　——Medical rooms.
