This standard specifies the basic principles, risk assessment procedures and document requirements for the life cycle risk assessment method of industrial robots, and provides examples of hazard source identification for industrial robots, AGV hazard source identification, risk assessment and risk reduction. This standard applies to the life cycle risk assessment of industrial robots. The safety principles established in this standard can be used as a reference for other types of robots. This standard does not include risk assessment of industrial robot system integration. Additional hazards may arise for special applications (welding, laser cutting, machining, etc.), and these hazards should be subject to targeted risk assessments.
