- This part of GB 11291 specifies the safety requirements for the integration of industrial robots, industrial robot systems and industrial robot cells. Industrial robots and industrial robot systems have been defined in GB 11291.1. Integration includes the following aspects: a) design, manufacture, installation, operation, maintenance and scrapping of industrial robot systems or units; b) necessary information for the design, manufacture, installation, operation, maintenance and scrapping of industrial robot systems or units; c) Component equipment for industrial robot systems or cells. This section describes the basic hazards and hazardous situations associated with these systems, and proposed to eliminate and fully reduce the risks associated with these hazards requirements. Although noise is identified as a major hazard for industrial robots, it is not considered in this section. This standard also specifies requirements for industrial robot systems that are part of an integrated manufacturing system. This standard does not specifically deal with hazards related to processing (such as laser radiation, ejected debris, welding fumes). Other standards apply to these processing hazards.
