Scope

This standard gives guidelines for implementing risk assessment of machinery in accordance with GB/T 15706-2012, and describes various methods and tools related to each step in the process. This standard is intended to be used for risk assessment of the complexity and potential hazards of various machines and gives examples of different risk reduction measures. The intended users of this standard are those involved in the design, installation or modification of machinery that incorporates safety (for example, designers, technicians, safety experts). Appendix A gives specific examples of the application of risk assessment and risk reduction processes.
