Scope
This part of GB/T12706 specifies the structure, dimensions and test requirements for fixedly installed extruded insulated power cables with a rated voltage of 35kV for use in distribution networks or industrial installations. This section applies to longitudinal water-blocking structural cables and their testing. This standard does not apply to cables with special installation and operating conditions, such as those used in overhead cables, in the mining industry, in nuclear power plants (in and near containments), and in cables used underwater or on ships.
