- This standard specifies guidelines for the selection of high-voltage cables. This standard applies to high-voltage cables. This standard provides guidance on the selection of conductor sizes, insulation levels and construction of cables for three-phase AC systems above 1 kV and summarizes the information necessary for appropriate selection.
