Scope
This document specifies the grades of air cleanliness in clean rooms, clean areas, and isolation devices described in GB/T25915.7 according to the concentration of suspended particles in the air. This document is applicable to the monitoring of cumulative count distribution and particle concentration of particulate matter whose particle size cut-off limit is 0.1μm~5μm. The concentration of ultrafine particles (<0.1 μm) will be specified in the air cleanliness standard for nanosized particles. At designated sampling points, it is specified to use a light scattering (discrete) air-suspended particle counter (LSAPC) to determine the particle concentration of large particles (>5 μm) and quantify them with the M descriptor. This document is not intended to characterize the physical, chemical, radioactive, biological activity or other properties of airborne particles.
