Scope

This part specifies the technical requirements, testing, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of online monitoring devices for substation equipment. This section applies to online monitoring devices for transformers, reactors, circuit breakers, gas-insulated metal-enclosed switchgear (GIS), capacitive equipment, metal oxide arresters and other transformer equipment. Other online monitoring devices may be implemented with reference.
