Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, standard electrical values, classification, mechanical requirements, climatic conditions, electrical requirements, accuracy requirements, inspection rules, markings, packaging, Transportation and storage. This standard applies to miniature current transformers used in static energy meters in power grids with a frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz and a voltage not exceeding 600 V (root mean square value). This standard also applies to miniature current transformers used in other instruments that meet the above conditions.
