This standard specifies the terms and definitions, normal working conditions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of liquid volumetric flowmeters. This standard applies to all liquid volumetric flowmeters (including waist wheel flowmeters, oval gear flowmeters, scraper flowmeters, rotating piston flowmeters) that are composed of a sensor (or transmitter) and a display part and can measure and display cumulative flow. Flowmeter, reciprocating piston flowmeter, disc flowmeter, screw flowmeter, double rotor flowmeter, etc., hereinafter referred to as flowmeter).
