This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification and labeling, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of hot melt adhesives for textiles. This standard applies to copolyamides, copolyesters, polyethylenes (high-density polyethylene, low-density polyethylene), ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers, and thermoplastic polyurethane hot-melt adhesives for textiles.
