This part of GB/T 18487 specifies the classification of electric vehicle conductive charging system, general requirements, communication, electric shock protection, connection between electric vehicles and power supply equipment, special requirements for vehicle interface and power supply interface, structural requirements and performance requirements for power supply equipment , overload protection and short circuit protection, emergency stop, conditions of use, maintenance and identification and instructions. This part applies to electric vehicle power supply equipment for off-board conductive charging of electric vehicles, including AC charging piles, off-board chargers, connection devices for electric vehicle charging, etc., and the maximum rated voltage of the power supply is 1 000 V AC or 1 500 V V DC, the rated output voltage is 1 000 V AC or 1 500 V DC maximum. This section also applies to electric vehicle power supply equipment that obtains energy from on-site energy storage systems (such as buffer battery packs, etc.). Under the following special conditions, additional functions shall be added to the electric vehicle power supply equipment: a) The electric vehicle power supply equipment is located in a hazardous area, where flammable gas or vapor, fuel or other flammable or explosive substances exist; b) The electric vehicle power supply equipment is designed and installed at altitudes above 2000 m. This part does not apply to safety requirements related to the maintenance of conductive charging systems for electric vehicles, nor does it apply to on-board charging equipment specified in ISO 17409, nor does it apply to trolleybuses, railway vehicles, industrial vehicles and power supply equipment mainly used for off-road vehicles .
